PLUS Model Street Style: Amber Coyne
Street style is always a great way to see what’s out there on the fashion scene and be inspired to create your own fabulous street style. We love to see a model’s street style when she’s off duty and living her everyday life. And we wanted to share that with our readers. So we will be featuring plus models in the industry who will share their street style with you and give you a glimpse into their lives.
This week, Amber Coyne, signed to Dorothy Combs Models, stopped by the PLUS Model Magazine office. This new plus model on the scene chatted with us about her favorite fall trends and how they are a big part of her street style as well as her advice to women who are struggling with their self-esteem and more. She showed us her “model off duty” outfit and what she wears off-set. We loved her positive attitude and down-to-earth personality and we’re sure you will, too.

“10 months.”

Describe your style in 3 words: “Edgy, sophisticated, sexy.”
What fall trends are you excited about?
“Leather! As you can see, I love wearing leather and the best part about it is it doesn’t really go out of style. Or at least not in my closet haha. I’m also really excited about cut out clothing. It brings so much style to an outfit with the perfect combination of sexy and mysterious.”
Confidence is key to living your best life. What is your advice to women who are still struggling with their self esteem?
“The first thing you have to do is ignore the negative body image that society has set as “the norm.” Since when is normal fun anyways? 😉 YOU get to define what beautiful is and it all starts by looking in the mirror! Realizing your inner worth and outer beauty will allow you to reach your highest level of confidence. Every single woman is worthy of feeling like the most fabulous female alive; which you are so you should tell yourself every chance you get! It also doesn’t hurt to surround yourself with nothing but loving and uplifting people.”
Where do you see yourself in the next 5 years?
“In 5 years, I will be established in my career as a top plus model, living in my apartment in either Miami or NY. I can’t wait! I pray that I’m so busy I can barely think straight, haha.”
What Amber is wearing…
Top: Mary Green
Amber took a lingerie camisole and wore it as a top. A great way to achieve a sexy look that’s lightweight and would look great under a blazer, sweater or jacket as well.
Belt: H&M
The middle gold portion of Amber’s belt breaks up the all black emsemble and creates a defined waist in Amber’s silhouette. A wide belt is a must have in any woman’s closet.
Skirt: Yvonne Marie
A nice pencil skirt with an under-the-knee length can be sexy without showing too much – perfect for those of you uncomfortable with short skirt lengths. The faux leather panels in Amber’s skirt gives this pencil skirt an edgy vibe.
Heels: Jessica Simpson
A simple t-strap heel can look chic and elongate your legs – in Amber’s outfit, the heels paired with the clean lines of her skirt makes her outfit look sleek and makes her look taller than 5’9″.
