PMM Around Town: Isabel Toledo’s NYC Appearance at Lane Bryant’s NYC Flagstore Store
Fashion designer Isabel Toledo made a series of rare appearances recently at three flagship Lane Bryant stores in Chicago, Miami and New York City to celebrate the launch of her third collection with the plus size retailer.

She and her husband Ruben Toledo met and greeted customers, fans, bloggers, media and others at the store locations where Isabel was available for interviews and photos.
PLUS Model Magazine was there at the New York City event on Tuesday, September 23, 2014 with Editor-in-Chief Madeline Jones, Blog Editor Marcy Cruz and Executive Fashion Director Reah Norman in attendance.

Isabel spoke candidly with the PMM staff about how excited she is to be designing for plus size women because she believes that fashion should be available to all women. The event, which was captured on social media by using the hashtag #LBtoledo, was attended by many of the plus size fashion industry from bloggers and media to stylists and makeup artists. Chante of the blog Everything Curvy and Chic hosted the event along with independent fashion and style website Refinery 29. All in all, what a successful event! Kudos to Lane Bryant, Isabel and Ruben Toledo and Refinery29 for making this event possible where customers and others were able to get face time with Isabel and Ruben and see the collection up close.
