Plus Size Model Tara Lynn Fronts New Gloria Vanderbilt Campaign Alongside Iman
Style is not dictated by age or size.
Gloria Vanderbilt is celebrating her iconic 40-year presence in the fashion industry with a body positive campaign that proves style has no limits.
Her denim has reigned over the decades and she was one of the first designers to create bold denim styles for plus size women that fit well and was on-trend, back in the 80’s.
According to the official press release, “as the first major jeanswear brand launched by a woman, for a woman, Gloria Vanderbilt Jeans is excited to launch a campaign that exemplifies the brand’s roots.” And we couldn’t be happier.
The 93-year-old designer tapped supermodel and activist Iman, model/actress Tatjana Patitz, Sports Illustrated Swimsuit cover model Elsa Benitez and plus size supermodel Tara Lynn to star in the campaign.
Vanderbilt is proving that her denim is still one of the best-fitting in the fashion industry, as her brand is the #1 women’s denim brand in unit sales in North America (source: the NPD Group, Inc/Retail Tracking Service 2016).
According to the press release, this campaign is an evolution of the brand’s Spring 2017 campaign “We Are One”, which also featured Tatjana Patitz and Tara Lynn.
Created in partnership with RO New York with creative direction by Rony Zeidan and shot by renowned photographer Paola Kudacki, the addition of Iman and Elsa Benitez truly adds to the diversity of the campaign and sends a strong message that Vanderbilt’s customer base is so diverse and she embraces that.
The campaign is supported by a behind-the-scenes video that can be viewed at www.gloria-vanderbilt.com and the campaign is also being promoted via social media at @GloriaVanderbiltJeans and the hashtag #WEAREALLONE.
Iman said in a statement:
“‘We Are All One’ celebrates the individual ‘One’ and the universal ‘We,’ and I am honored to be part of this campaign that is both inclusive and timely. There is no better time than now to be a woman and collectively stand for and with women as we shift and reshape the future of all women.”

Encouraging aspiring models to share their personal narratives, the initiative aims to inspire women of all backgrounds, shapes, and sizes. Following a rigorous selection process, Brittany Wilborn, Camryn Henry, and Sharon Clawson emerged as the chosen winners. In January 2024, these models embarked on a transformative journey to Harbour Island, where they had the unparalleled opportunity to shoot alongside Denise under the expert direction of internationally acclaimed photographer and director, Ben Watts.
