Summer is almost here and no matter how many clothing options I have in my closet, I’m always looking to add key pieces to my wardrobe. Can we ever have enough clothes? Nahhhh!
I joined my friends at Catherines for a shopping spree on a budget. What I did was give myself a budget of $300 and I shopped in-store to see what gems I could find.
I went to the Catherines store in Paramus, NJ and had the time of my life! The staff was so kind and the store is stocked with super-cute items that fit into my very full schedule. To change things up I took YOU (my followers on Instagram) with me and I had you choose the looks you thought would look great on me this summer. I tried everything on and polled the looks to see which ones you liked best.

The Perfect Maxi Dress
Welcome back Tie-dye! Yes, I was a big fan of Tie-dye when it was out in the ’90s and it’s back in shirts, dresses, and even accessories. I’m so glad everyone chose this dress because it includes two things I love, a cold-shoulder sleeve and pockets.

Casually Cute
Whether it’s a BBQ or hanging out with friends and family I need two things… style and comfort. I LOVE this tee and decided to try colored denim and fell in love with these cropped jeans. They are so comfortable and fit really well.
Style Note: These jeans have a button and zipper they are not pull on pants. 🙂

Let’s Get Active!
Activewear is for looking cute inside and outside the gym. Whether you are running errands or going for a walk and getting that heart rate up, Catherine’s activewear has you covered. This was a close call because both looks were super FAB and people were VERY passionate about this on Instagram.

Sunkissed In The City…
For those of you that do not know, I live on an island… the island of Manhattan – lol! And living in the city means that if I want to catch some sun I have to run up to my rooftop or to my nearest park. I do get my fair share of beach days because we have beautiful beaches as well, but I decided to show you inside my world… we can be swim-ready in the city and still keep it cute. This swim dress was a clear winner from the moment I posted it. It’s so pretty and has a great neckline.

Living For Denim
My extra look is the other casual look I polled. I was able to purchase the entire look and still have money left over. You can’t go wrong with pull-on cropped jeans and this gorgeous stars cardigan. You will be seeing this look on repeat this summer.
