THE HIGHLY ANTICIPATED MS. FULL FIGURED HBCU PAGEANT™

OPENS THE CASTING PROCESS IN OCTOBER 2013

As the inaugural Ms. Full Figured HBCU Pageant™ pageant gears up to take place on the East Coast in the Spring of 2014, the casting process is set to begin in October 1, 2013. All females, sizes 14-24, attending any Historically Black College or University in the United States with a GPA of a 3.0 or higher is encouraged to apply.

The mission of The Ms. Full Figured HBCU Pageant™ is to progressively nurture an exceptional catalyst for change on behalf of plus size women attending historically Black colleges and universities by empowering them to embrace their physical attributes, reaffirm their self-worth, and positively impact their communities.

Tonya Giddens, the Creator and Executive Producer of the Ms. Full Figured HBCU Pageant™, is dedicated to supporting HBCUs and so created the Ms. Full Figured HBCU Pageant™. Launching in March 2014, Tonya’s goal is making the Ms. Full Figured HBCU Pageant™ the premiere plus size pageant for college women attending HBCUs that allows participants the opportunity to be recognized for their accomplishments as well as offering scholarship money to complete their education.
