Online eyewear company Warby Parker has announced that it is teaming up with major retailer Nordstrom to launch a new exclusive pop-up shop, which will feature four exclusive pairs made for the retailer.
“The brand is five years old and we’ve grown much faster than we’ve ever expected, and the vast majority of that has been through word of mouth. Now we’re focused on getting the word out.”
The company has been in talks with other retailers but decided that Nordstrom was the best fit for them because they were seeking a retailer whose focus was on stellar customer service:
“We’ve always had a lot of respect for Nordstrom as a retailer, in particular their emphasis on providing great customer service. It’s better than any other large-scale retailer.”
According to Fashion Times, the new pop-up shop will “feature merchandise like Warby Parker glasses, books, pencils, stationary, candles and more. The shop will feature four exclusive Warby Parker sunglasses frames along with a curated selection of eyewear from the brand. In addition, there will also be featured products like cards and stationary from Pike St. Press, books from McSweeney’s, candles from Land by Land and more.”
“Warby Parker is one of the most innovative and modern companies, and I have such huge admiration for the way they have told their story. The Nordstrom customer is going to be off-the-wall excited to come in and get to know the world of Warby Parker with the Pop-In twist.”
