Back in April, we announced that we were partnering with fashion designer MarlaWynne to find two extraordinary women who live with confidence and have a passion for spreading a body positive message. The everyBODY Model Search would help us find two phenomenal women that will be our cover models for the September 2016 issue of PLUS Model Magazine.
For the first time, PLUS Model Magazine will feature two cover models, one of which will be a “missy” size. When we speak of body diversity, we don’t just mean “plus size” but all sizes, all bodies.
Our two winners will be flown to New York City where they will be treated to a 3-night stay at one of our favorite hotels, win a fabulous new MarlaWynne wardrobe (worth $1,000) and of course, participate in the cover fashion shoot for the September 2016 Fall Fashion issue ofPlus Model Magazine.
We announced the six finalists earlier this month after reviewing over 5,841 entries and over a 100,000 unique votes. We are now excited to announce the two winners of the contest who we are so excited to work with.
Those phenomenal women are:

However, because I’ve managed to come out the other side with a better attitude and more self love, I feel I have a responsibility to encourage other women and men alike, to accept and love their bodies in any shape or form. When you can learn to take your cues from your body instead of standards set by people trying to sell you something, you start to realize you can be more comfortable and confident than you ever thought possible.” – Meara Oberdieck
