The brand partnered with two plus size brides-to-be to promote the collection with a personal touch, that’s so genuine and relatable.
West coast-based blogger Jennifer Buckingham and East Coast-based plus model Caralyn Mirand are the two lucky brides-to-be featured front and center in Curvy Couture’s campaign and we loved how they used two different plus bodies to show some diversity in the collection.
Both ladies are in the midst of planning their weddings and proving that brides comes in all sizes and they are all beautiful. As Mirand recently said in her contributing piece for Martha Stewart Weddings:
“To be a bride means to be a woman—whatever shape and size that may be—not a supermodel. To me, being a bride means being who I really am, from the inside out. And I’m learning that woman is quite alright.”
Buckingham’s images have gone live with Mirand’s images set to launch on April 4th to coincide with her popular #WeddingWednesdays theme where she talks all things wedding through her own experiences as a plus size bride-to-be.
