Plus size bridal lingerie is rare to find, especially for styles that will last for more than just one night.
The brand partnered with two plus size brides-to-be to promote the collection with a personal touch, that’s so genuine and relatable.
West coast-based blogger Jennifer Buckingham and East Coast-based plus model Caralyn Mirand are the two lucky brides-to-be featured front and center in Curvy Couture’s campaign and we loved how they used two different plus bodies to show some diversity in the collection.

Both ladies are in the midst of planning their weddings and proving that brides comes in all sizes and they are all beautiful. As Mirand recently said in her contributing piece for Martha Stewart Weddings:
“To be a bride means to be a woman—whatever shape and size that may be—not a supermodel. To me, being a bride means being who I really am, from the inside out. And I’m learning that woman is quite alright.”
Buckingham’s images have gone live with Mirand’s images set to launch on April 4th to coincide with her popular #WeddingWednesdays theme where she talks all things wedding through her own experiences as a plus size bride-to-be.
Here’s some of Jennifer Buckingham’s gorgeous campaign imagery:
Buckingham has become a body positive shero in the blogging world with her fearlessness in showing her style and zest for life. She inspires her readers to get out there, love life and love the body you have. The actress, plus model and avid traveler shows that sexy isn’t a size.
Evora Russell, Curvy Couture’s VP of Marketing & Sales said in an official statement:
“Curvy Couture has made a vow to be a brand that offers solutions for every occasion in a woman’s life, including her wedding day. Curvy brides have been asking for bridal occasion intimates that are beautiful and functional. Our award winning strapless is the perfect match!”
“We listened to our customer and focused on maintaining the integrity of our best-selling styles that have been perfected. For example, our strapless sensation bra that is currently in lace will now be offered in smooth in three colors for bridal. Our Glistening Embroidery Push-Up style mirrors our best-selling Tulip push-up frame as well, so we feel very comfortable that these two styles will be a natural home run.”
Cup sizing for bras runs up to an H cup and band sizes run from 34 to 46, in three styles… Strapless, which consists of the Smooth Strapless Bra in white that can be used as a multi-way; Gorgeous Crochet Lace collection comprising the adorable Crochet Lace Underwire bralette with matching Crotchet Lace Boyshort; and Glistening Embroidery V-Neck Bralette with matching high waist panty. Panty sizing is M to XXXL.
