This month is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
This year, National Breast Cancer Awareness Month (NBCAM) is celebrating its 35th anniversary of promoting awareness of breast cancer issues and keeping that conversation current and going.
NBCAM does this by educating and empowering women to take charge of their own breast health, whether it’s conducting regular self-breast exams, having annual mammograms and/or knowing the facts about recurrence.
They offer informative guides online, resources and opportunities to share your story, volunteer and donate.
Some plus size brands are also joining in this month, offering stylish ways to give back by creating BCA-themed collections and donating a percentage of profits to the cause.
