Celebrities Entertain Fans During Social Distancing…
By Guest Contributor, Stephanie Penn
During these stressful times, the most comfortable place for us to turn to when we’re practicing social distancing is entertainment. For the record, entertainment is no substitute for spending time with your family, but if you’re forced to be quarantined, why not dance a little. Enjoying classical music while meditating with Lizzo, dancing to Gloria Estafan’s PSA or enjoying an 8-hour long playlist from DJ D-Nice will take your mind off of what’s going on outside of your front door. On the other hand, if you are looking for something for the kids, let Dolly Parton put them to sleep with her bedtime stories.
Lizzo
The curvy superstar used her talents to calm us down. She described it as “A meditation and mantra to promote healing during this global crisis.”
Gloria Estafan
Get on your feet with Gloria Estafan and do your part to end this thing once and for all.
DJ D Nice
Since March 18, DJ D-Nice has been hosting Club Quarantine. Celebs and fans have joined him on Instagram Live for “the biggest party in the world.” If you enjoy nostalgic hip hop and you want to party with Michelle Obama, Jennifer Lopez and Oprah Winfrey then check this dance party out.
Dolly Parton
“Goodnight with Dolly” started on April 2nd and it’s the perfect way to end a long day of social distancing. This 10-week series focuses on comforting and reassuring children during the shelter-in-place mandates.
