Let’s talk about 3 different ways to wear the everydayJONES Metallic Pleated Skirt…
One of the items in my closet that I covet is a great pleated skirt… I’ve tried so many of them in various colors and fabrics so when I was given the opportunity to include one in my collection I was so excited and today I’m showing you how I’m planning to wear my metallic pleated skirt.
A little about the pleated skirt:
The everydayJONES metallic pleated skirt is fully lined and has an elastic band around the waist, but it does not look like it’s elastic because it’s a ‘Flat Eccased Elastic Waistband. This gives you many more options when styling your skirt.
Since this was my first collection and I could not offer tall, average, and petite I did give it some length so it would be worn by my tall customers as well as my petite customers.

Way to Wear It #1… About Town
I lived in NYC for over 20 years in the downtown area and one of the things I love to do was people-watch… NYC has some of the most stylish people walking the streets and this was one look that I adopted…
Mixing an elevated item like a metallic skirt with a sweatshirt or tee instantly creates a fun look that is comfortable and trendy. I added a pair of sneakers and my favorite “about town” crossover handbag and I’m ready to enjoy what the day brings.

I remember the first time a friend of mine styled me and put a belt on, at the time I was not into belts and just thought they made me look bigger. WOW! I was so wrong! Belts are such a great accessory and certainly added exactly what I needed to create this fab look. Whether you are going into the office, having a meeting, or just going out to dinner with friends pairing a fabulous sweater with the everydayJONES pleated skirt is a great option.
Adding a pair of booties as I did is an option or a great pair of flats and tights once the weather begins to get cooler. Don’t be afraid to accessorize your look with bold earrings and a handbag. It’s your style… Wear What You Love!

everydayJONES is not the brand that will encourage you to hide your body, in fact, we want you to celebrate your personal style no matter what your shape, age, or stage of life. Pairing the champagne pleated skirt with a bold green cropped sweater may seem like too much but it’s really such a great look for ANY occasion.
I added a pair of sparkly high heels (you can do the same with a shorter heel 🙂 I added a headband that also includes the green in my sweater and the rest is my 100% confidence. Confidence always completes my look.
A little more about the sweater… it’s a mixed stitch detail and great layering piece which you will right into next spring and I will also be showing you how I’m styling it at a later date.
