As a little girl, I remember when my aunt would dress me up and take me outside to take pictures for no particular reason.
Watching my “Titi” get dressed up and put on makeup was one of my favorite things to do and I admired her dedication towards looking her best no matter where she was going.
When I look back at the evolution of the plus size industry, I get the same feelings.
I admire the dedication from the brands, designers and industry professionals who have taken the plus size fashion industry to where it is today. One of those brands is Ashley Stewart; we are no stranger to the hardships that the brand has endured in the past. To see the brand grow into the powerhouse it is today, is remarkable.
What does it take to “make it” in such a competitive market? A vision with passion and the strength to see the hardest of days through because you know there is a brighter tomorrow.
I think this is a lesson we can all take in and apply to our personal lives…
