Calling all plus size fashionistas in Florida!
One Curvy Boutique, Florida’s first speciality plus size clothing boutique, will be opening its doors on Saturday, 9/30, offering women more clothing options in-store at a time where plus size women are mostly regulated to shopping online.
One Curvy Boutique wants to flip that script on plus size shopping by unapologetically placing the needs of plus-size women at the forefront.
Created to expand and give plus size women more in-store clothing options, One Curvy Boutique was founded by Chante Burkett of EverythingCurvyAndChic.com.
Burkett is a powerhouse, having had a successful blogging career, which included launching her own swimwear collection with fellow blogger Essie Golden for Rebdolls.
She is also no stranger to the struggles plus size women face when it comes to shopping. So we weren’t surprised when we learned that her new boutique will be offering a unique shopping experience including Personal Styling, their “Get Ready With Us” service, and in-store clothing customizations.
The “Get Ready With Us” service includes personal one-on-one attention, where you will receive assistance on getting ready for your event. A certified makeup artist will be on hand, along with their in-house stylist to help you pick out a outfit and style you.
The boutique will stock inventory from around the world including independent designers with their sizes ranging from 1x-5x (12-32). 
Burkett said in an official statement:
“The fashion industry is finally expanding and giving plus size women more clothing options but most of these options are only available online. Plus Size women deserve the opportunity to feel comfortable shopping in-store, knowing that there are fashions and sizes available for them.”
