For YEARS women have been on the front lines for the body positivity movement and fought with fashion clothing companies to design clothing that fit plus size bodies because everybody is different.
And coming from a male perspective, their efforts should be applauded. They opened the doors for body positivity, body inclusion and forcing the hand of popular fashion companies to produce clothing for women of all sizes. However, it reaches beyond the realm of fashion and body positivity, plus size women are no longer being forced into stereotypical roles. So, the advancements that men have made in the fashion and body positivity, we definitely owe it to the countless courageous women that have been on the front lines.
Within the past two years, we have seen a rise in plus men’s fashion.
There is a rise of plus male models and influencers are rising. Trust me, I am here for it all. I applaud the men that are putting themselves in a position to empower others and share their experiences. There are men with all different heights, weight and body types.
