The new collection, which is Gregg’s fourth one with swimsuitsforall, takes the theme of “Queen of the Nile” to new levels, dubbing Gregg the “Queen of the Bikini“. As with previous collections, it’s a limited one and her pieces tend to sell out quickly so buy yours now if you can.
“My collection is never really super cohesive, partially because there are so few options for plus-sized women; I like to really use my platform and collection as a way to service many different tastes. They’re all statement pieces and head-turners with cool details.”
We love how Gregg is very involved in the design process, insuring that the collection is stylish and trendy but comfortable and offering support in all the right places. Gregg said:
“We work together to find the perfect fabric and choose colors. I give my input when it comes to fit and what I would like to change, like moving a waistline up, or if a torso needs to be longer.”
Cup sizes have been expanded in this new collection and Gregg hints on her blog that she and swimsuitsforall are open to adding more sizes to the range:
“As usual, these are statement swimsuits that have fun colors, prints and details that you won’t find in your average plus size suit. We have expanded the number of pieces–this year there are 12 suits and 2 cover ups. 8 of those suits launch today, and 4 more will be coming at a later date… This year we also have expanded the cup sizes! The line is available in sizes 12-24 D/DD and 18-24 in E/F and G/H. (I would love to add even more sizes, and the best way to make that happen is to see the larger sizes selling as quickly as the rest, it helps prove there is a demand to expand even further).”
We love the boldness of Gregg’s swim collections and how women feel empowered and confident when wearing one of her pieces. We’re sure this collection is sure to be another sell-out and we couldn’t be happier for Gregg.
