Creator & Executive Producer of Full Figured Fashion Week, Gwen Devoe is highly regarded in the plus size industry as a pioneer and leader in bringing plus size fashion to the forefront.
Devoe got her start as a plus size model, which led to her creating her own events company Devoe Signature Events, producing fashion shows and key events. She saw a need to create an event that would push the envelope on fashion and its lack of inclusion. FFFWeek has since become regarded as the “Oscars” of the plus size industry, having just wrapped up its 10th year in 2018.
Devoe ended 2019 with the launch of her Silver Fox Model Camp, focusing on mentoring models over the age of 40 while assisting them in getting more representation in the fashion and beauty industries. And FFFWeek will be returning in June 2020 after a year-long haitus. 2020 is going to be an exciting year for Devoe and her team – we can’t wait to see what’s next!
